Born in 1977 in Hilden/Germany, Carsten Korfmacher is a philosopher by profession and a writer, political activist, adventurer, philanthropist, intellectual and cultural critic by aspiration and self-understanding. It may be the other way around, or some other possible combination, but he keeps on forgetting.

When he is not doing anything else, he works on his doctoral dissertation and teaches at the University of Oxford, England.
